Started with the Tre Pecorini, bread and olive oil. The cheese was very good. 3 stages of the aging process. The oldest was the best to me. I couldn't tell you the name. The main event was the Isola Pizza. The Lobster chunks were bigger than the fork and had great flavor. The sauce was inconsistent. It was quite spicy on half but became less spicy, sweet and the tomatoes gave a great fruity flavor. It was kind of a mess. $90 with tip. Not worth it in my opinion. The restaurant looked high end b
What a fabulous place! We arrived just after opening at 5pm and were lucky to get a table in the garden. To start, we ordered the meatballs, fried artichokes, the special appetizer of 24mo aged prosciutto di melone and the arugula salad. And then we had a number of pizzas my favorite of which was the seasonal Asparagi: organic asparagus, fresh mozzarella, pecorino, black pepper with a beautiful slice of lemon on top that you absolutely must squeeze all over.
Cute place, good service. The sauces are exceptional, flavorful, aromatic. But overall the food is good but not memorable. The meatball appetizer was good, the pizza dough was nice but did get quite soggy.
