Randomly found this place in Hells Kitchen. My cousin was in town and she just wanted good Italian food! Il Melegrano was a pleasant surprise. It had a great ambiance and the staff were lovely. Food tastes like authentic Italian. I normally don't like Caesar salad but whatever they did differently I loved it. I had the meatballs and my cousin had the Rangu. Everything by was lovely and we weren't rushed.
Incredible place! You have to go at all costs! The food is delicious, fresh, and wonderfully prepared, with huge portions. Great wine! Reasonable prices for New York! The desserts are OMG. The atmosphere is pleasant. We will definitely come back again. Amazing restaurant. Make sure to reserve in advance.
I love this restaurant. I always order the caesar salad whenever I come here, it is my FAVORITE in the city. You can't go wrong with the Aperol spritz, or with their large wine selection either. The staff are always sweet, and will make sure you are taken care of.
