A decent place for Italian! The only thing that caught us off guard was the pumpkin soup, which was really good but it was a special and we forgot to ask for the price. But the soup cost $30, which (for me) is pretty pricey. Other than that, the food here is pretty great. I particularly enjoyed the veal. The peppers that they serve are fantastic too. The service was good. The restaurant has nice decor but it was a bit too dark.
The head waiter is nasty. He barks at his staff in front of the guests. The staff with red coats are the hardest workers and very nice, helpful and accommodating. The server we had was also gruff and not at all enthusiastic, helpful or nice. Food was tasty but portions were small.
We have a Christmas tradition of coming here with friends, and the ambiance is always spectacular. The staff is kind, welcoming, and attentive. We started with the Caesar salad and oysters, which were fresh and delicious. We ordered the Lobster Pasta à la Diavola as the special of the day. While the flavor was very good, the pasta was undercooked and quite hard. One of my friends sent it back, and unfortunately, it still came out the same way.
