I need to talk to the Insomnia Cookies team at the Upper West Side location. Come pull up a seat. Sooo, my entire day was one of the craziest I’ve had in a long time, physically and emotionally. Drove from NJ for a late night snack at my favorite cookie shop. To my surprise it was the worst experience I've ever had at insomnia cookies. I probably wouldn't have been this upset if the cookies were actually fresh. The woman at the check out counter should not be serving people or anything related to customer care. We first noticed her tone and demeanor with the couple who was checked out just before us. I was hoping it was just a difficult customer but then that behavior continued with us.
There was a line out the door to the sidewalk when we arrived. The smell of fresh baked cookies lured us into the shop and waiting in line was worth it.
