The place is cute but the food is garbage. Ordered 2 salads and the vodka pasta and the lasagna. All had zero flavor and were tiny portions for the amount of money. I regretted going there after the first bite. And then they didn’t even offer free water from the tap. They further take your money by making you get it bottled. I never mind spending money for good quality, but this was a waste. Save yourself this one.
Dropped in as it was one of the few open after the blizzard. Had the slice with stracciatella a sprinkle of arugula, served hot and with crispy edges, love it after coming in from the cold. The Pistachio tiramisu however was unremarkable and too sweet. Decor was warm and welcoming.
A really surprising place! We were looking for a decent cup of coffee during our stroll down the 5th avenue, and stumbled upon this cafe that seemed to answer our standards (a coffee machine with real beans that are being grounded on the spot, rather than the automatic coffee machine that you usually find in some cafes). We ordered an espresso, and the coffee was very good, with great crema, and good quality. We have juts finished lunch in a different restaurant so we weren't really in the mood
