Lively Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese dishes including dim sum.

We don’t come to Jade Asian Bistro very often, but this visit was really good. Their dim sum items are pretty traditional and solid overall. This time we ordered Tai Peng Mein Fun, Peking Pork Chop, Beef & Vermicelli in Satay Sauce, and a few dim sum items. The Tai Peng Mein Fun was our first time trying it, and it had great wok hei. The flavor was very unique and really impressive. The Beef & Vermicelli in Satay Sauce was also very good — the beef was super tender. At first, the color made it
I can see why this place has such poor reviews. I ordered the chicken yi mein for $20 and it was extremely bland. The chicken itself was also very tasteless. I also tried the ham sui gok. They were larger than usual and priced at $5 for 3, but unfortunately they were bland as well and lacked any flavor. Unfortunately, my stomach did hurt after eating. Overall, the meal was disappointing. I wouldn’t return or recommend this place. There are a lot more better dim sum places out there!
This restaurant was recommended by a colleague and I was excited to try. He recommended multiple courses menu that I took. The atmosphere is warm and staff/service very friendly and professional. Why I give 4 stars for food is as it was a lot! Great and surprising taste, though.
