The biggest issue was the value - we ordered an additional portion if the pork belly (samgyeopsal) and it turned out to be $45 for a single strip. We had such an amazing experience at Jeong Yuk Jeom NYC. From the moment we sat down, everything felt elevated, the setup was clean and modern, and the service was super attentive and friendly. We had the sushi yukhoe, and it was honestly so good, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also had the A5 wagyu brisket, and it literally melts in your mouth. Me and my friend went to JYJ for lunch, and it was phenomenal. Our server, Emily, was so sweet and welcoming — she treated us like family. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place before! This is officially our new lunch go-to spot. The cold noodle in this hot weather was absolutely spectacular, and the shrimp katsu was huge and perfectly crispy. Trust me, this is one of the best lunches you can grab in the city. I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner too :)
