There’s something special about finding a spot that gets it right every single time—and that’s exactly what I experienced at Joe Coffee Company. I ordered their hibiscus tea with lemonade and a touch of lavender, and it was nothing short of powerful—in the best way. Bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, it had that clean, uplifting taste that just stays with you. What really stood out, though, was the consistency. Neighborhood coffee spot with a good, daily-changing selection of pastries, and good latte drinks. They make a decent oat chai and a variety of latte drinks. Joe is a good roaster and a good brewer, so you really can’t go wrong with one of their drinks.
Pulled coffee drinks substantially weaker than when Joe first open. Interior far too dark. Decorative items placed on the bar take up precious space. (Although hooks have been added under the bar. Thank you.) Overall a. B- compared to what the shop used to be and compared to others now popping up in the nabe (two more in the past year).
