I stopped by this pizzaria and purchased a vegetable slice, a sicilian and 2 chicken ceasar salads. The slices were delicious and fresh. The salads were great too. If ever in the Bronx this place is definitely a must see. The music is awesome. FYI its right by the 1 train stop 231st.
I have been coming to Charlie's for about 2 to 3 months when I come see my mom at her physical therapy facility and I have to stop and get a slice , my nephew comes on the weekends with my sister and we have to get his pie to go home. It never gets home it's gone in the car. Great great pizza I must say, it's done to perfection, no drippy sauce no rubbery cheese, just done right. And Charlie and his staff wonderful treatment of us all. Thank you for good eating.
When I think of a real New York Slice this is it! Best sauce, perfect cheese pull, perfect crunch. And flavorful! Now don’t get me started on there calzones. I had a loaded calzone with peppers onions mushrooms pepperoni and sausage. it was fully loaded to where you can’t even close it. $9 calzone can FILL UP 2 people. And that sauce OMG. Oh and you gotta try chicken vodka Parmesan pizza! Great Price! delicious Taste! Next is they pastas!
