Along with their signature soup dumplings, we tried the fried rice and chicken kung pao. The fried rice was well cooked with a nice balance of flavor simple, comforting, and not overly greasy. The chicken kung pao had a good mix of spice, slight sweetness, and crunch from the peanuts, making it a solid, flavorful dish. The soup dumplings still remain the standout juicy, delicate, and full of rich broth but the additional dishes rounded out the meal nicely and made it more satisfying overall. S
There's a very good reason this place is known by its amazing soup dumplings!! We came for a quick lunch, sat on the bar which was a nice experience on its own, as you get to see the staff prepare the soup dumplings right in front of you. We visited during spring break and dined in. Some of our party had visited before and helped us order. We started with the pork XLB and it did not disappoint. We ended up ordering some of the crab XLB which was loved by the adults, less so by the children in our party. We also had pan fried noodles and beef with vegetables which were literally inhaled by our party. The children also enjoyed their shirley temples.
