What a great surprise. We went there to attend my cousin’s birthday and we all had great time. It is clearly an historic place and a landmark in NYC. We felt it while inside and we really loved the experience. Great drinks, great service, good music and also amazing burger and fries for a very fair price.
An icon well worth checking out. The walls are adorned with write ups and glamour shots. Julius earned its place in history for the ‘sip-in’ and has endured for its modest and simple style. Cash only, pub food if you’re hungry and friendly bartenders eager to please. Solid bar for the working class.
The decore brings you back to the fifties or sixties. Hamburger still one of the best in town. Jukebox playing their favorite oldies. Photos on the wall showing a real history to be proud of.
