Very cool little bar with well-made cocktails, space to dance and a Blade Runner-esque ambiance to match. By "little", I mean about the size of Elsewhere's Loft (including the bar area) or maybe a bit bigger. Just around the corner from Jefferson L stop. My one knock is that atmospheric haze appeared to be from incense, which emits PM2.5. I'd prefer they used a water-based solution.
I am a producer on THE THING EXPANDED, an upcoming crowdfunded documentary about John Carpenter's 1982 sci-fi/horror film "The Thing." Myself and a several other members of the production team wanted to do a meet-up event with backers in New York ahead of a Carpenter concert at the nearby Knockdown Center (about a 15 minute walk away). Pretty great dance club option when you’re in bk! I need to come when it’s not as crowded, because when it’s crowded it’s hellllla crowded. Small dance floor the size of a nyc kitchen/living room. Great drinks, great music!
