I order their short rib bowl, which is an additional $13. At that price point I don't expect to get thin sliced ribs with a lot of excessive fat. My son orders from here and they are usually good. But when you go from additional $8 to $13, you need to make sure customers are getting their monies worth, and trim the fat.... especially in this economy.
Korean American visiting the neighborhood! Ordered some of my favorite dishes and was surprised at how much the tuna kimbap tasted like it was from a 분식점 (snack food restaurant) in Korea. The tteokbokki hit the spot, and the veggie dumplings could not be a better deal! Plus the service was incredibly friendly. If I lived here, I'd probably go back at least once a week!
Introducing the K Street Food! This address has gone thru a flurry of iterations from Charles Pan Fried chicken to a Jamaican Soul Food restaurant. I finally stopped into K-Street Food this afternoon for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is a fusion of sushi, freshly prepared rice bowl dishes, glass noodles, various proteins and soul food.
