I got the chance to visit Kabin while I was back in NYC. Unfortunately I got there late so I was only able to have a few of their awesome offerings. I definitely will be making my way back there for more drinks but more importantly for the amazing, incomparable, dynamic, @jordan_diggory. What a guy. I went for coffee. This place is a sleeper. Kabin should rank with the top high quality specialty coffee spots in New York, with high level, knowledgeable baristas who pay attention to details and care for their craft; amazing hand brews; good pastries, and an elegant ambience. They carry some of the best light roasted, Scandinavian coffee brands, and make the best chai I've had in NYC. Those in the know know Kabin.
Always been a great spot for drinks, but very happy to see how well they’ve recently expanded into a cafe during the daytime! And unlike the thousands of NYC cafes serving mediocre coffee and the same stale pastries for $$$, they instead offer two things you really can’t get anywhere else; Tim Wendelboe coffee and fresh Norwegian Waffles with the traditional toppings!
