Cute little unassuming storefront, but is beautifully decorated inside and has fun authentic Thai dishes you don't see often in NYC. Banana Flower and Prawn Salad and duck curry is a favorite. I haven't had a bad dish here yet! Reservations recommended. You might have luck getting a walk in if you come right when they open for dinner.
I discovered Kaew Jao Jorm by chance while in Williamsburg, and it turned out to be a wonderful Thai dining experience. The restaurant focuses on Royal Thai cuisine, and the dishes feel refined with well-balanced flavors and layered spices without being overly heavy. The highlight for me was the Pad Kee Mao. The broad rice noodles had an amazing texture, soft yet slightly chewy, unlike most versions I’ve tried. The seafood was fresh, especially the shrimp, which were tender and paired beautiful
Amazing royal Thai spot in Williamsburg! Royal Pad Thai has excellent wok hei, Gaeng Puu crab curry is fragrant & great with rice. Crispy Larb Pla branzino tossed in fresh lime herbs hits different. Shrimp cakes, crab fried rice & purple dumplings are all fantastic. Nice ambiance for dates, big portions, will come back!
