I’m staying in the Times Square area, and it’s really challenging to find authentic Pakistani food here. I was honestly fed up with pizzas 🍕 when I finally found this restaurant on 9th Avenue. It’s within walking distance from Times Square. I think it’s about a 20-minute walk (I didn’t calculate the exact time), but I’ve visited several times and truly enjoyed the food every time. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the staff speaking Pashto as well, which felt very special to me since I also sp
Happy they’re back! Their Chana masala is so good, hard to find someone to make it well. Lentils were cooked perfectly. Goat curry is always tender and always flavorful. Their chicken biryani is ok, needs more flavor. Veggie samosas are delicious. Naan is definitely made right, best crust. Aloo paratha is always on point. Tandoori chicken was ok, but very salty. This place is always good and reliable, a bit oily but I don’t have any issues after eating.
We had an extremely pleasant lunch experience. The menu had some great lunch offerings at reasonable prices in such a location with so yummy tastes. Each dish showcased the rich flavors. The appetizers were delicious, and the main meals stood their ground as well. We walked out happy and full. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We tried it twice on our visit to Newyork and would love to try it again. 5 Stars is still less for them.
