Snug, bright restaurant featuring a seasonal Southern Italian menu & unique cocktails.
From Google Maps reviews.
I enjoyed the small menu and intimate feel of the restaurant. The food feels very homestyle, simple but done well, comforting but not heavy. They can be a little heavy-handed with the salt but it's not too bad, clearly im still rating it 5 stars because they definitely would come back when they rotate the menu. Their made in-house ice cream is incredible definitely some of the best I've had in the city. Really cool wine and spirits list. Ronny made me an excellent drink that I will be back for.
I went to King for my birthday and it was truly a special experience. My boyfriend had made a reservation, and from the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was incredible — they even printed a personalized menu with the date of my birthday and a “Happy Birthday” note, which felt so thoughtful and unique. The food was outstanding. Everything we tried was delicious, but the chickpea fritters were absolutely next level — genuinely one of the highlights of the meal. Every dish felt carefully
the menu rotates, but all the food was incredible. the best were the chickpea fries (panisse) which were so smooth on the inside and crispy, and the apple tarte tatin. gooey sweet apple and buttery pastry underneath. the roast chicken was also very solid, well cooked with an interesting bread sauce.
