Local Swedish-style coffeehouse chain serving coffee & tea, plus bagels, sandwiches & pastries.

I’m surprised I haven’t stopped in here sooner. Cozy and laid back bagel place with good coffee and friendly staff. I got an egg and cheese tomato avocado on and everything bagel (with garlic aioli per the recommendation of the cashier). I also got a half caff Americano with oat milk which was delicious. I appreciated sitting in and watching the vibes on 5th avenue. Lovely experience and I’ll be back!
The food here was genuinely delicious. The bagel was perfectly done—crisp on the outside and soft on the inside—and the lattes were very good as well. Unfortunately, the service and cleanliness didn’t match the quality of the food. During my visit, multiple customers (myself included) had to ask for tables to be cleaned, and in some cases ended up wiping them down ourselves. People were also rearranging tables and chairs while staff appeared disengaged. Floors remained flighty and garbage flowi
Service was grumpy. But my primary beef- there are bathrooms in Sweden. There is a strong social contract in Sweden. Asking people to spend money on caffeinated beverages here and then again elsewhere to pee demonstrates a very poor understanding of social contracts.
