Very solid döner kebab sandwich. Definitely the closest to the real thing I’ve had so far in NYC. Tried both beef and chicken; I preferred the later as it’s more similar to the spices of the original lamb döner. What makes it is the bread. Super crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Portions are also large.
The chicken sandwich with everything on it was 🔥. Worth stopping by if you want a quick bite and rest at the public seating upstairs before sightseeing again. The guys working there were chill and did a great job.
While the guy taking my order for a beef doner kebab was very personable and helpful, he did end up adding some of the toppings I said I didn't want. Not a big deal for me, since on a different day I would've just gotten it with everything. The 1st several bits of the kebab will be of salad, bread, and sauce. Which taste really good.
