There was a bit of a line mid Saturday morning but I didn’t need to wait very long. This location is rather small. Many people were buying baguettes. The apricot croissant looked good. The sandwiches are sold daily but the focaccia is only on the weekend so I got a pesto mozzarella focaccia piece. It was very good with a soft crust and bouncy chew. The olive oil was tasty but can get messy on hands so I recommend eating as soon as you purchase. Staff were very friendly. There isn’t seating insid
This is my happy place whenever i come to NY. The vibe takes you back to Paris where great quality bread and community connections are the key focus. My go-toa are the comte jambon baguette,pain au chocolat and the financiers. Do note as this is French style the baguette is served cold and not toasted,hence it can be a bit crusty or hard for your teeth.
Been on the hunt for the best ham and cheese baguette and La Bicyclette does a solid job. The flavors of the ham and comté were a bit strong for me but the baguette was a nice contrast — light and fluffy. I do think better can be found but definitely recommend stopping by for a hearty sandwich!
