Authentic, delicious Mexican food. We came for lunch and both had tacos which were incredible. Felt like I was in Mexico City. Very good in house chips and salsa verde. Their hot sauce is incredible too. Our waitress was super friendly and put up with my very poor Spanish lol. I will definitely be back.
We had the best meal at La Fortuna!!! This place is SO worth the trip, whether you’re coming from New York City, New Jersey, or just nearby. A fresh, hot basket of tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa verde greet you once you sit down. Their al pastor tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had, and we got huge portions of tender grilled steak smothered in onions and peppers, garlicky grilled shrimp, and sizzling fajitas. The food comes out fast, hot, and you can tell it is made with care. W
We were visiting for the BikeNYC tour and stopped here and was not disappointed. Excellent food and great friendly service. Food came out quick so we had another drink for dessert. Excellent!
