I always pop in to this place for a very specific item which is guisao de berenjena Stewed Eggplant. which is my all time favorite I ever had in this place next to the chicken noodle soup which I would get even on a hot summer day.. I like to eat light vegetable based meals that are healthy and they have them, I would just like to see more consistency with the menu and the food quality sometimes on some days the food is fresher than others. Other than that it is a good Hole in the wall especiall
The guy who attended to me was pleasant, both he and the cook looked annoyed and frustrated to be at work… I ordered a heavy breakfast Rice, Fried Salami that was cooked the previous day (edges was to hard) and a Porkchop that was fresh but under fried… Rice had barely any taste and the place looks like they are about to go into bankruptcy… If you even need a coffee get it somewhere else, I regret spending my $13 on it, should’ve went to the Bodega and got a Sandwich…. Do yourselves a favor AND
Humble family style Dominican food found. Pernil and Tripe soup are fantastic. Portions are generous. Very friendly service.
