Ordered a cake online through goldbelly for valentine's day, with "guaranteed" delivery a few days before. It ended up being rescheduled to arrive nearly 2 weeks late and I wasn't notified until it was too late to place an order for vday at a local baker. Such a bummer to drop $100, plus $30 shipping on fancy dessert for a special occasion only to have it fall through. Can't comment on the food itself bc we cancelled when we learned how late it would be.
Not gonna lie the Dubai Mille fueille (crepe cake) is stupid silly delicious. I think it’s like a million dollars so thankfully I got it through my roommates investment banking dinner credits. The strawberry shortcake it pretty whatever. The walnut cake is unique and I really liked it
I had ordered for pick up, the email they sent had incorrect address, making me walk around for 30 minutes. When I arrived at the store and told them the problem, the employee (manny) acknowledged it is a common problem and said it is not their fault, it is google’s fault (just update the link l!) This cake is not cheap, and I expect some customer service that is on par with luxury cakes - also I just walked around for 30 minutes, don’t you just feel bad for that?
