Bright, white-tablecloth Sichuan restaurant offering a wide-ranging menu & a small bar.
From Google Maps reviews.
Places like this barely exist in Midtown anymore. Land of Plenty feels like a true neighborhood spot. The restaurant is modern and clean and the Chinese food is absolutely delicious. We showed up with a group of ten and they were able to accommodate us without any issue. The service was fun, friendly, and attentive the entire night. The bar also looked like a great place to hang out.
If you're looking for an authentic, no-frills Chinese meal, this is the place to go. The service is fast, and the staff is both welcoming and attentive. As a group of six, we tried a variety of dishes, and everything was pretty good. We especially loved the Sichuan spicy chicken. The vegetable dishes were also a pleasant surprise—they were well-cooked and seasoned so perfectly that even my husband, who doesn’t eat veggie much, couldn't resist. (Updated) husband said it’s because he’s too hungr
The best Sichuan I’ve had in NYC. Anywhere, honestly. They have PLENTY of options, and everything I’ve had tastes amazing. Lived blocks away and would go or order every other week, and still go every time I get the opportunity. My favorite? Orange beef, shrimp fried rice, and their spicy wontons. Just perfect!
