My go to broth is usually bone or tomato soup base. The fish/shrimp paste is underrated and done well! Always a great time when I go to LaoJie. My family calls it Lao Gai, or old street, in our dialect. The food is awesome, the service is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome. They provide bags to put your coats and bags in. The skewers here are a must. No need to worry about food poisoning due to undercooked food. The skewers come prepared and ready to eat.
