As a guest at the Moxy, I figured I had to try Legasea Bar & Grill. I'm glad I did. There were plenty of tempting options on the menu, but I went with one of my favorite tests for any bar and grill: the burger and fries. If a restaurant can get the basics right, it's usually a good sign. Legasea passed with flying colors. The burger was cooked perfectly, somewhere between medium-rare and medium, juicy and full of flavor. The fries were equally impressive, with just the right amount of crunch.
As Australians travelling into the USA, there are certain things to navigate. Food and beverages amongst them. Pepsi Max is not a thing here, so Pepsi it was lol. Seriously, the food at Legasea was wonderful. The $14 garlic bread was a meal unto itself. The chicken parmigiana tasted wonderful. Unlike ours in Australia, there is no ham on the chicken and the sauce surrounds the meal not spread over it. That being said, would I order it again, of course. The Calamari was an interesting take
My sister and I celebrated our birthdays at Legasea Bar & Grill on 6/11/26, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the host greeted us warmly and even surprised us with birthday cards, which was such a thoughtful touch and immediately made us feel special. To start, I enjoyed sparkling water along with a cocktail called “We Were On A Break.” It was incredibly refreshing with just the right touch of cucumber. Perfect for a summer evening.
