Cute little date spot with some delicious food options to pair with their extensive global wine list. The food menu blew us away, we loved everything we tried — highly recommend the Polenta, the Octopus with potato salad, Iberico selection, pan de queso with honey butter and the beignets with toasted fennel
I was telling my wine friend that he needs to come here because out of all of the "wine bars" I've come across in the city, Lelabar has the most unique and interesting set of wines I've personally seen. And that's just by the glass. Apparently there's a whole other bottle list I'll have to come back to try. It's busy and lively, so prepare to be crammed into the small space, but don't expect to be disappointed. The charcuteries are next level.
The best wine bar in the West Village, a true neighborhood gem with an impeccably curated wine list and every bottle somehow feels like the perfect choice. The team is warm, knowledgeable, and led by real wine expertise without a hint of pretension. Come for a glass, stay for a bottle, and enjoy delicious food too. So grateful to have a place this special in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
