i’m writing this review as I await my order (2nd visit now) and i gotta say this is a good little spot. it’s quiet, no one here except me actually and there’s no music playing. the train is right outside though and the light foot traffic is fun to watch. you might be wondering what i ordered. it’s the fish and chips, and i can hear it frying in kitchen behind me. it smells amazing. i also got a peppermint tea. i can already tell im gonna love the food so i’ll just leave it at that. if i dont i’l
It's shops like this that make New York City. Absolutely wonderful service and food. I once left my charger here and couldn't make it back for a month. They still had it a month later and kept it safe for me. The staff is super kind, and I love their muffins and Greek fries especially. I cannot recommend this place enough, truly a local gem.
**This place has changed ownership** I’ve gone here for years and it’s always been a favorite until this past weekend. It WAS full of wonderful service, great food and even better bang for your buck. Our last trip was anything but all of those things. It was depressing to see what kind of place it is now. Service was bad, food was smaller portions than before even though the prices have doubled.
