Los Tacos No.1 on Lafayette was so good it genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. Everything tasted super fresh, hot, and full of flavor, but the real standout was the fried empanada—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned with a filling that actually tastes like it was made with care, not just thrown together. We skipped this spot the first time we drove by, but the second time turned out to be a total win. The pork tacos were unbelievable, easily the best I’ve had anywhere. The chicken tacos were good as well, but the pork really stole the show. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. This is absolutely a place I’ll be returning to many times.
We came here before the end of 2025. I come from a state where tacos are made really well and authentically. We’ve also tried some really great tacos as we have traveled. These tacos, however, are unforgettable. The ease of ordering, the kind servers and the accessibility add to the whole experience.
