Located in Vanderbilt market. I came here for lunch the other day and I liked it. I got the mixed chicken rice. The rice itself was the highlight for me, it was aromatic and flavorful, especially after mixing it with the three sauces provided (ginger scallion, spicy, and a sweet soy sauce type). As for the meat, the poached chicken wasn't as tender and juicy as I expected, but I still really liked the gelatinous skin on it. The roast chicken was great, the meat was juicy and the skin was flavor
The poached chicken rice at Lou Yau Kee is so satisfying. ( food court near Grand central terminal ) The chicken is juicy and tender, the broth soup is full of flavor, and the fresh chili sauce adds the perfect kick. I always ask for extra chili sauce 😃🙏
Really tasty Hainanese chicken rice. The chicken was very tender and juicy, and the rice was super fragrant and flavorful. Loved the chili and ginger sauces too. Great quick lunch spot.
