Came in outside of rush hours so no idea how busy jt gets, but the smoked beef brisket pho was a solid choice and I’d definitely come back for it. Really delicious broth and the meat was thick, fatty, and juicy. Order at the front and they’ll get your order - there’s water available in the corner next to the cashier. Outside has some additional seating. There’s also a $1 broth deal and someone recommended dipping the aoili garlic bread side in it, which I really want to try. Would def get th
Lucy's Vietnamese has a solid selection in their menu and I don't think you can go wrong with any of it. I tried both their chicken and brisket pho which are not traditional ingredients for pho, but I have to say I approve of the change!! The brisket was extremely savory, smoky, and tender, but not the fatty, melt-in-your-mouth type of brisket. The chicken is tender, lightly sweet and savory but if you come here don't miss out on the star of the show. I definitely recommend you try the brisket.
Fantastic authentic Vietnamese spot in Williamsburg, just off Bedford Ave and the L line. Cozy, small place with a diverse menu from Pho to Banh Mi. I had the signature smoked brisket banh mi—DELICIOUS! I'm looking forward to coming back for some Pho with my girlfriend, who loves Asian cuisine. Great job, Don—see you again soon! 10/10
