My family and I wanted to try a new spot especially for Juneteenth that’s blacked owned so we searched and looked at serval reviews before finally deciding this place. I don’t usually give reviews but this was needed. Our server was Corey and he was beyond phenomenal, very patient, and even helped us out on opinions of varieties of food choices and drinks. The moment you set foot into Mable's Smokehouse & Banquet Hall, you are consumed by that nostalgic deep, earthy scent of burning oak or hickory. It’s so welcoming. On to the food. We ordered the 3 meats and 3 sides platter. For the meats we got the Brisket, the Kielbasa Sausage and the St Louis Ribs. For the sides, we ordered the Baked Beans, Collard Greens and Cornbread. We made a reservation through Google for four people and were impressed as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere, menu, weekly specials, and overall vibe were great, and the smell coming from the kitchen instantly made us excited to eat. For drinks, I ordered the Spiked Cherry Limeade.
