Visited Magnolia Bakery in the West Village while in Manhattan, and this spot absolutely lived up to the hype. Magnolia Bakery is famous for its Banana Pudding, so that was the main thing we came to try, and it was definitely worth it. Hmmmm well I had high hopes after hearing the rave reviews but was left feeling meh. Not bad but nothing impressive. The chocolate cupcake was good. The banana pudding had a great fluffy texture, however the flavor was lacking. Service was fast despite them being busy. This was just an average sweet treat experience.
