The poke bowls are a little pricey but they're very good. The tuna tasted fresh, grab salad, and other items were very flavorful. The Kalua Pig Buns were delicious as well. Staff was friendly. Look forward to trying more items in the future.
I wanted to like this place, especially now that L&L has pulled out of the New York City market, but it's just not very good. Credit where it's due, the appetizers like the Spam Musubi and the pork gyoza are great! Perfectly good. But the main dish, the loco moco, was just dreadful. Actually I was so enthusiastic about this place until I experienced so much prejudice. At first I thought it was a language barrier until I found out that they're in the HOOD taking with no giveback. I went to pickup a catering order and asked to use the restroom and was told no. Photo to follow.
