Casual, trendy, take-out-only spot for Jamaican fare, served by friendly staff.
From Google Maps reviews.
Overall, good. I was told the oxtail was good, though they could use a little more flavor, but they were still pleasing to the pallette. The fried chicken was well seasoned and not greasy. The jerk chicken was delicious and just as brutal on the exit though lol. If you don't care for spice, don't do it. The curry shrimp was also delicious. The counter lady gave me life, as she was singing, dancing and smiling, ringing up our orders. The young lady preparing our order had the mean mug (lol stigm
Very busy location but that is because the food is great. I got the jerk pork which was flavorful and tender.
I saw the line inside and promised my stomach to treat it to a few meals. This Jamaican spot is takeout only. The staff is helpful, friendly, and ready to assist you. There is no one on their phone or distracted by side conversation. It's odd to see staff actually focus on the customers in Jamaican restaurant. They accept cash and cards. Bon Appetit!
