Needed a spot for a quick bite, and Mario’s definitely did the job. Loved the thin-crust slices, though the pepperoni could’ve been a bit cheesier. The margherita was okay too, but it was missing a little flavor or oomph.
Pizza here low key slaps. Seasoned perfectly, crust is thin but holds its structure, decent char at the bottom. My go to place for pizza is mamas too, but this place has the most NYC style like slices, but done really really well. After writing my review I got another cheese slice to take photos this time
Okay this pizza slice was pretty great. Crust had just the right amount of crunch, chew, and saltiness. (It was not cracker-crunchy and over toasted, which I dislike.) Sauce was balanced and not overpoweringly sweet. I will go out of my way and take the subway back here again for sure.
