Walked in and made a joke about only drinking Guinness no water..I was obviously joking. The bartender said I shouldn't serve you then I said bro it's a joke it's 3pm I haven't drank today. I said it's weird a brittish pub doesn't want to serve Guinness to a paying customer. The bartender said I do what I want I don't have to serve you I said it's just a joke dude and he kicked us out..it felt very racist and I have a good heart and like to be friendly but he was just a vibe killer. Stopped in yesterday (Dec 9th, 25 12:05pm) for a pint while waiting the hour for my bus. I inquired about any craft beer offerings as a brewer yet was told they're weren't any before noticing Goose Island on tap. I informed the bartender pleasantly that Goose Island was a craft offering and that'd be my choice. $8 pint, $1 tip and I slowly enjoyed my beverage to kill the time. I walked in and sat down, wasn’t greeted, and there was no waiter. A female bartender finally said something to me 10 mins later. The female bartender wasn’t welcoming. She sat my drink on the counter and did not say anything. I wasn’t paying attention and then happen to notice my drink was in front of me.. the food was gross, barely edible… won’t return 😑
