Great meal courtesy of our friends at Tasting Collective. Beautiful, elegant airy space. Set menu was generous and varied. One dish not to miss was the spiced duck breast with escarole, sweet potato, oaxacan mole, peanut-almond dukkai & sesame. Also of note were the smoky octopus and chorizo and the vanilla pana cotta with raspberries and passionfruit sauce. Fantastic unfussy service. And a nod to their choice of Threes Brewing The Long Game Pale Ale. Great beer from a great local brewery.
We visited Meadowsweet on a snowy Sunday for brunch and were immediately impressed by the warm and polished experience from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was fairly quiet because of the weather and our group of four was seated right away. Water was brought to the table immediately and the front of house staff seemed completely in sync. Came during restaurant week for brunch. It was $45 pp and well worth it. Firstly, every single dish was perfection. Had the muffin to start and it was warm and fluffy on the inside yet crisp on the outside. Same for the empanadas - crispy but the filling was soft and delicious. Probably one of the best omelettes, it was evenly cooked and the fillings (spinach and mushroom) were also seasoned and cooked to perfection. Not a bad bite throughout.
