Glatt kosher deli offering classic items like pastrami & brisket, plus some Middle Eastern fare.

It’s a take out place. You don’t want to eat there. But the bbq sandwich was good. They didn’t give me rye bread as requested. But I forgave them as brisket meat was ample and juicy. Comes with homemade pickle & mustard. Picture is 1/2 sandwich. Very proper Jewish kosher sandwich spot.
Not a good dine in experience. I ordered a soup to stay and it came in a plastic container with a plastic spoon. Gross. It was scalding hot and had a lid on it and I burnt my fingers and made a mess trying to get the lid off. When someone orders to stay give them a bowl and a metal spoon. I don’t remember them eating out of plastic containers in Seinfeld. The photo on the outside of the building shows an actual bowl and spoon!! When they “served” I asked if they had a real bowl they said no
Trying Mendy's Favorite Sandwich at Mendy's totally upgraded my lunch. The brisket and pastrami combo was ridiculously savory and satisfying—rich flavors and crunchy slaw in every bite. Definitely craving this one again!
