Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Offshore service reps do not understand my problem and refuse to connect me to a U.S. representative. Ive been a policyholder since 1971. Im also a stockholder. Never, ever will I recommend this company.
I appreciated the swift approval of our life insurance claim. However, the archaic practice of putting a sizable check in the US mail is ridiculous. The first check got lost in the mail and after 6 phone calls & 3 weeks later, a new check was issued. Despite being given a FedEx account to use to send the check overnight, it was sent by regular US mail again despite the assurance that my FedEx account would be used.
