Not bad for east coast Mexican food. I’m a bit jaded by my west coast roots so having to pay for chips and salsa felt wrong to me but the flavors were there even if the traditional experience was not. I got the enchiladas, we shared a side of black beans and my coworker got their chicken burrito. All came out quick and fresh. I’d classify this as up scale Mexican food. With beautifully plated dishes and deep thoughtful flavors. Probably a fun place to a margarita in the summer months.
Mexi in Williamsburg is such a delightful spot and easily one of my new neighborhood favorites. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. I came here with my mom and my sister after the spa, it was a nice place to finish the night. We got chips and salsa, aguachile, and I opted for a steak burrito. The food was excellent, however the portions are small, so if you are looking for a main course, get something larger. My sister ordered an appetizer and was still hungry later.
