Classic diner fare in a down-home corner shop setting, popular with Pratt students & other locals.
From Google Maps reviews.
Mike's Coffee Shop has a quintessential diner feel and you better get there early if you want to snag a booth. They serve up all the classics and none of that $14 pancakes nonsense. I focused in on the Greek Specialties section and ordered a Gyro on Pita for $7.25. It has a good amount of meat, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and tzatziki on soft pita. I could've used a squeeze of lemon on the side, but otherwise a flawless diner experience.
Mike’s is our go-to breakfast whilst we’re staying near Fort Greene. You absolutely have to go here. It’s a truly classic diner with great food Nd a really warm, buzzy atmosphere. To top it all off, the service is exceptional! They were really helpful with allergens too. No dairy, no problem.
First time here very cozy and the staff are very sweet. We got help right away. Everything was made fresh and taste so good. They do have additional seatung outside but on the weekends. This place very popular and busy. Will come back again ooo the coffee was amazing thank you.
