This was my first time ordering food, and I should have known the moment I walked in that it was a red flag. No air conditioning? It was 93 degrees in New York City! To top it off, I had to wait an hour and 30 minutes. The only reason I waited was because I was craving some soul food. I’m pregnant, and I’m really disappointed that this was my first time and this was the bad experience.
Absolutely delicious! Great service, very attentive (they remembered that my friends had been there before and recognized that it was my first time there). Meeting the owner was a wonderful treat, too! I’ll surely be back.
