I was looking for an intimate place to be quiet from the busy hot day. It started with the ensalada with Cacio e Pepe dressing and a cocktail of Amaretto on the rocks. The Seabass was delicious with chickpeas and the house wine was crisp and right for the fish. Eggcream custard with rhubarb finished the beautiful meal and left me smiling. The service was excellent. Montesacro was a great place to have a solo dinner. I sat at the bar. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I ordered the Carbonara and Tiramisu, both were amazing. I also had a glass of Pinot Noir. I’ve had better, but it was fine overall. When I dine alone, I like to read a book. The noise volume was conducive to doing so.
