Really enjoyed this space, it’s beautiful. My friend and I arrived when they were just opening for the day so we had the whole space to ourselves. Our server/bartender was amazing, super personable. Recommended a great food selection and talked about his cocktails for a bit. The music selection on vinyl was such a vibe too. We left but actually came back some minutes later just to pass time and have more drinks!
I wanted to like Moondog Hi-Fi more than I did, especially given how strong the reviews are, but my experience was pretty average. Right when we walked in, the place felt crowded and a bit disorganized. I couldn’t tell if the bartender was overwhelmed or just didn’t notice us, but we weren’t greeted. I threw a private event at Moondog for my 30th birthday and we opted for open bar option. The party was for about 50 people, I was able to decorate the space, bring food. Dov coordinated via email with me for months and answered all questions I had. The owner and bartenders were also very friendly and helpful. Drinks were great. Service 10/10! They even curated these cute menus for the party. I would definitely throw another party here 🥰
