I had a wonderful breakfast at this The Morning Star Cafe and will definitely be back. The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - with good flavor. The croissant french toast was a new concept for me but delish. The breakfast sausage was flavorful and cooked just right. My coffee stayed hot throughout the meal, which I always appreciate - with several refills. Very high quality, CLEAN tasting diner food. Ingredients are always fresh and they are consistent. I order the patty melt from here consistently and it is perfect each time. I can assure you they care about quality, cooking standards and textures here. You will not get a greasy burger or soggy fries here. The burger will melt in your mouth, the veggies will have crunch, the fries will have a thin crisp and soft inside etc. They care about this stuff.
I’ve been here a few times now for breakfast and always had a good experience. The Philly omelet is very good, as is the farmers one too. I tend to have the salad instead of home fries, but that’s just me. The pancakes are also excellent. Definitely worth a visit, and it’s 24 hours for part of the week.
