Casual dine-in or takeout spot for Indian cuisine, including tandoori oven classics.

This place is SO underrated!! I order takeout from them monthly, and last night I went to dine in for the first time. The service was excellent and I was surprised it wasn’t packed. For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and aloo tikka chana, which we INHALED. I wanted to order seconds. For the main I got chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo which was very spicy, PERFECT! We got the garlic naan and garlic chili naan. We also got their three most popular chutneys. I also got a sweet lassi.
My partner and I went to this cozy looking restaurant after a long walk at the botanical garden. We were greeted and seated promptly after arriving. He gave us sufficient time to look over the menu. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and chili chicken with a side of chili garlic naan and rice. The food itself was extremely flavorful (can definitely taste India as I grew up eating Indian food). I can whole heartedly say this is one of my favorite Indian spots now in NYC. They didn’t overdo it w
Love, love, loved everything!! I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants, but this was THE one. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. The staff was incredibly kind, and the place was very clean. I usually don’t drink mango lassi, but my husband ordered one and I took a sip—wow, the best! I had to order one for myself. The owner was also so kind and even gave us a free kebab. This will definitely be our go-to spot!!
