Came here because so many people recommended this place to me. I ordered shrimp dumplings(wontons) with peanut and hot spicy sauce, and cold noodles with sesame sauce. I ordered on the phone because I couldn’t find the option to order online for takeout. Both dishes were nice. The cold noodles were a little bland the soy sauce in the bottom helped but I wish there were some vinegar and chili oil. The texture of the noodles were also a bit too mushy. It was a very nice cozy spot. I enjoyed the jasmine tea. And she recommended the asparagus. Tasty. But the dumplings with shrimp were amazing. I definitely let her know I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely be back for that house special by her.
The Cantonese roasted pork and wonton soup was a terrible disappointment. The pork was a dry and tough sliced brick. The wonton was delicious. The soup was tepid and meh. I didn’t get to the egg noodles. The waitress did offer to change it for something else, but I just returned it, paid for my $8.70 Tsingtao and left.
