I stopped into Nishida Sho Ten Ramen today and ordered the Tan Tan Ramen, which has become one of my absolute favorites. The broth is incredibly rich, thick, and flavorful, loaded with ground pork, scallions, bok choy, and plenty of chili heat. It is hearty, comforting, and so satisfying that I often find myself asking for extra noodles because I just don’t want the bowl to end. Service was great and felt like being over at a family friends. Ramen was just okay-- not bad by any means but not amazing. We were most disappointed in the drinks bc the chu-hi are all canned; thought it might be like in japan where its made at the bar but this wasn't the case. Prices are NYC ones and unfortunately I dont think it quite gets to where it needs to be.
