Casual Italian eatery dishing up Sicilian dishes such as pasta, octopus carpaccio, and pizza.
From Google Maps reviews.
Food i ordered was phenomenal! Not the usual Italian and yet it is. The pizza I ordered was excellent. Thin and crust is light and cooked in gas fired oven from Sicily!! So the kind that I personally love. The sauce of my anchovy pizza was delicious with cut tiny tomatoes!! I love the octopus carpaccio. It is a big plate. Truly delicious and seems cooked to me. Their specialty pizza was good too with stracciatella pistachio and mortadella And we tried their dessert - with a slice of can
I’ve been to all three Norma locations in the city, and they’re all equally good. This one feels especially Sicilian, with the Mattanza painting on the wall referencing the traditional tuna fishing method in Trapani. I love all of their pastas, but the Trenette al pomodoro really stands out. The tomato sauce is bright, rich, and full of flavor, and the pasta is always cooked just right. The ragù is delicious too, and the portion is so generous that I always take the extra sauce home for leftover
It was a great dining experience. I walked in knowing nothing about Sicilian food and walked out happy and satisfied. I had the Norma arancine and the pistachio pesto pasta - both were made with top quality ingredients. Its the freshness and the simplicity of each dish here at Norma that truly embody what Italian food is all about.
